Anime and Gamers Club

MEMBERSHIP FEES:
None – Fundraising activities may be done during the school year to purchase
equipment or movies or tournament prizes.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
Open to any KHS student regardless of race, gender, ability, religion, etc. ALL ATTENDEES are required to sign in each week. Attendance is recorded. This is an "open door" activity so membership is flexible and students can come any week.
Missing a meeting does NOT count against a member.
Parents may contact the After-School Program advisers (931-905-7900 ext. 2259 OR ext. 3 /Library)
GRADES:
All members must be passing their core classes and maintain at least a C Average. Members who grades fall below will be placed on probation. Members who are failing in core courses will not be allowed to attend until grades are passing.
Parents and/or teachers may request a suspension of membership privileges until grades are at a satisfactory level.
OFFICERS:
Officers are selected in the Fall each year. Officers must be in good standing academically and behaviorally.
The selection procedure will be determined by Senior members and the Advisers each year.
Officers may be replaced by membership or adviser petition when the officer is not doing his/her job or must step down due to transfer, grades, and/or discipline referrals.

CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS:
ALL SCHOOL RULES and the CMCSS Student Code of Conduct apply
during club meetings, gaming events and anytime while on school property
before, during and/or after school!
There is a ZERO Tolerance Policy for bullying, hitting, harassing, etc.
Members who violate school system policy will be dismissed from the club and subject to disciplinary action.
Treat all supervisors, members and visitors with courtesy and respect. This is a social club!
No making fun of another member’s gaming /anime pronunciation. This is a learning experience. Correct with kindness.
No character claiming, bashing or flaming of another member.
ALL TRANSPORTATION HOME MUST BE ARRANGED BEFORE STAYING AFTER SCHOOL.
If students leave the library during club meeting time, they cannot return without PRIOR permission!
MEETINGS END PROMPTLY AT 5:30 AFTER CLEAN UP!!
MEETING CANCELLATIONS:
"If it’s a Tuesday and we’re in school, then we’ll be meeting!"
If there is an early dismissal, or dangerous weather conditions, or school is cancelled,
the club meeting is automatically cancelled.
Please listen to afternoon announcements in case of emergency cancellation.
The club does not meet when school is NOT in session!
